In our previous edition we celebrated with you our 20years of success, under the slogan 20/20. In this edition, I want to share with you Amadeus’ clear direction for the future by revealing a number of new milestones that Amadeus has achieved in the past few month, and that will reshape the map of distribution in the region for the coming years!
The first milestone that I would like to share with you; is the selection of Amadeus by 13 airline members of AACO (Arab Air Carriers Organization), following 18 months of intense negotiations with AACO, Airline members and all major GDSs. This is a 10 years Exclusive distribution agreement that will come into effect as of 1st January 2009 to compliment Amadeus’ continued commitment to bring our travel agency partners the best of relevant content, supported by the latest travel agency desk top technology.
In Amadeus we firmly believe in the huge potential the Middle East has, and driven from our commitment to the region, you will also read inside this edition how we are determined to reach you better from our newly established Regional Hub in Dubai. With this new milestone, we will cater to all levels of specific customer needs, and provide unrivalled support to customers with tailor-made solutions by bringing our global expertise to the heart of the region.
